Terence is a documentary photographer based in Singapore. He has received no formal training since picking up his father's camera at age eight more than twenty-five years ago. He's been a journeyman of sorts all his life, in many ways, before realising at the end of 2003 that he would rather take the chance on something he dearly loves. He promptly resigned from the civil service and has had no regrets since.

Since Shooting Home 2004, Terence has worked on several projects, notably for the Temasek Academy (providing principal photography for the college yearbook in 2004, the recruitment drive and feature walls, in the form of large format prints, for the college), a condominium project at Lincoln Road and the making of Cages, a joint Hollywood-Singapore movie (documenting the project as part of a team and providing the digital imaging work for the movie as Effects Photographer). He was also involved in SFW04 (Singapore Fashion Week 2004), demonstrating a fashion shoot at Millennia Walk in September. His clients include SimplyHer magazine, the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), the Port of Singapore Authority Corporation (PSA) and Victoria Junior College.

In January 2005, he was part of a team sent by Mercy Relief to the tsunami-devastated city of Meulaboh in Aceh, Indonesia, to help clean up and repair one of only 7 of the 153 schools still operational in preparation for classes to resume the following week. Images from that trip have been shown at the Esplanade and The Atrium @ Orchard from March to April 2005 as part of the Glimpses of Light series of exhibitions. They have also been published in SALT, a bi-monthly magazine of the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), Asian Geographic and distributed worldwide by Redux Pictures. He has since been to Nias for the earthquake that struck the area, on assignment for Mercy Relief.

Terence is constantly looking to improve himself and his craft, through the pursuit of personal projects between assignments.
